あしゅさんによる、桜で草木染めした布の巾着バッグ。
風合いにこだわった布を桜で染め、主にアクリル絵の具で抽象画のように色を重ねては洗う工程を繰り返す。一点ごとに異なる色彩や筆あとの表情、手をかけて生まれた独特の質感を、暮らしの道具へと仕立てています。
約18×18cm、マチ14cmのふっくらとした巾着型。財布やスマートフォン、ハンカチなど、身の回りのものをまとめて持ち歩くのに。約120cmの長い持ち手で、肩掛けはもちろん、斜め掛けにもできる使い勝手のよい形です。
口をきゅっと絞ることで生まれる柔らかなフォルムも魅力。手に触れる心地よさと、使い続けるうちに変化していく布の風合いを楽しめます。

神奈川県生まれ。
女子美術大学 絵画学科 版画コース 卒業
同大学院 美術専攻版画 修了
大学で油絵と版画を学び、九十九里町へと移り住む。
ガラス工芸の会社に勤務したのち、「あしゅ」として布に絵を描き、
一点もののバッグや布小物を制作する活動を始める。
Asyu / Botanical-Dyed Drawstring Crossbody Bag
A drawstring bag made from fabric botanically dyed with cherry blossoms, then worked mainly with acrylic paint through repeated layers of brushwork and washing. The process creates distinctive colors, brush marks, and a richly textured surface.
Measuring approximately 18 × 18 cm with a 14 cm gusset, it offers room for a wallet, smartphone, handkerchief, and other daily essentials. The approximately 120 cm strap allows it to be worn over the shoulder or across the body.
Its softly gathered shape and tactile fabric bring character to everyday use, with a texture that continues to evolve over time.
