あしゅさんによる、布のマチエールを追求したポシェット。
風合いにこだわった布を草木染めし、主にアクリル絵の具で抽象画のように筆を動かしては洗う工程を繰り返す。色の重なりや筆あと、手をかけて生まれた独特の質感を、暮らしの道具へと仕立てています。
型紙を使わず、フリーハンドで形をつくりながら、布の「マチエール」を追求した作品。編んだ布を縫い付けることで生まれる複雑な線の模様も、ひとつの抽象画を思わせます。色彩や素材の重なり、縫い目の軌跡が一体となった、唯一無二の表情が魅力です。
約23×19cmのコンパクトなサイズは、スマートフォンや小さな財布、鍵、ハンカチなど、身近なものを持ち歩くのに。ショルダーは最大約166cmで、長さを調整して斜め掛けにもできます。
身につけるアートとして、装いに取り入れる楽しさ。手に触れる独特の感触と、使い続けるうちに変化していく布の風合いも楽しめます。

女子美術大学 絵画学科 版画コース 卒業
同大学院 美術専攻版画 修了
大学で油絵と版画を学び、九十九里町へと移り住む。
ガラス工芸の会社に勤務したのち、「あしゅ」として布に絵を描き、
一点もののバッグや布小物を制作する活動を始める。
Asyu / Mosaic Pochette
A one-of-a-kind pochette exploring the rich surface textures, or matière, of fabric.
Carefully selected textiles are botanically dyed, then worked mainly with acrylic paint through repeated brushwork and washing. Created freehand without a paper pattern, the bag incorporates pieces of woven fabric sewn onto its surface. The intricate lines formed by the stitching become part of an abstract composition, bringing together color, texture, and structure in a unique wearable artwork.
Measuring approximately 23 × 19 cm, it is suited to carrying a smartphone, small wallet, keys, handkerchief, and other essentials. The adjustable strap extends to approximately 166 cm, allowing it to be worn across the body.
Its distinctive tactile character continues to evolve with use.
